Foundations in Three Dimensions
The sagittal plane, frontal plane, and transverse plane each tell a chapter of the swing story. In 3D analysis, we observe how the torso rotates, how hips stabilize, and how the arms coordinate with the club. By isolating motion in these planes, instructors and learners can identify where sequencing begins to falter and where a minor adjustment can yield a cleaner path to impact.
Tip: Start with a stationary stance and track how the pelvis and ribcage rotate within each plane during the backswing and downswing.
